Here is this necklace's story:
When I was little I used to love to watch my father work in his office. I would sit on the floor, for what felt like hours back then, and just watch him. The way his glasses reflected his computer screen, all of the books I wanted to read stacked up on his wooden desk. One day, while laying on the carpeted floor I noticed something... every cabinet had a little silver key and lock. When he wasn't looking, I slipped one of the small keys into my hand. For years this became a game - how many keys could I steal and return without him knowing. It wasn't until his final days did I tell him about the keys. He smiled at me and told me, "I knew what you were doing. I wanted you to explore, so I pretended like I never saw." To this day I still have that first silver key in my jewelry box. Untouched. Irreplaceable.
